🤔 What is it?

Slack is our internal messaging tool that connects people to the information that they need by bringing people together to work as one unified team.

Slack makes it easy to contact your colleagues – you can message anyone inside or outside your organisation and collaborate just as you would in person. People can work in dedicated spaces called channels, which bring the right people and information together.

🚨 Core slack channels

• Announcements

  • Used for internal company wide announcements. You should only post about things that directly affect all facets of the business eg kick off, weekly show updates etc.

• Capdesk Policies

  • A dedicated Policies slack channel whereby we will launch policies individually and provide an overview and all the key details.

• Finance and people
  • A dedicated channel for anyone in the wider business to ask any questions related to finance and people. This can range from anything like payroll queries to pension questions.

🏬 Department specific slack channels

Each department has their own dedicated slack channels, you can find out from your manager which channels are the most frequently used and relevant to you.
