At Capdesk, we want to democratize capital: Let employees co-own their company. Let's have stakeholder capitalism rather than shareholder capitalism. We push this way by removing technical, financial and legal barriers. We do so via innovation: we streamline how companies, investors and employees manage and transact equity.
Capdesk was conceptualised in Copenhagen in 2015 as a Scandinavian-based platform linking investors and companies. Some years later our CEO Christian moved to London after realising a new potential market, which pivoted Capdesk to an employee share management platform, focusing more on companies and administrators and less on investors. While the Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams are now housed in the London headquarters, the lively Danish city is still home to our Tech team.
Despite the geographical distance, Capdesk remains community oriented, with bi-annual socials for the whole team (DK, UK and ROW). On top of that, the respective teams arrange socials every month, typically some activity and dinner. We love celebrating even the smallest of achievements and a significant number of Fridays may end with a glass of champagne (or a negroni).
